Business First Partnership launches new Fares Team

At Business First Partnership, we are passionate about providing a corporate travel management service which benefits all areas of our clients’ business operations.

This means ensuring we continually innovate and optimise our offering to ensure we provide a service tailored to unique client and traveller needs while delivering the best possible value.

As part of this commitment, we are excited to announce the launch of our new Fares Team which will elevate our existing technology platforms and processes and deliver enhanced cost savings for our clients.

Andrew Sherry has been appointed to manage the department and lead the new team. His in-depth understanding of the complexities of international air fares, built through more than 30 years’ experience in the corporate travel industry, will be invaluable to his new role.

Enhanced auditing

As a leading travel management company, we strive to deliver maximum return for our clients from their corporate travel budget. We harness the power of our 360 technology suite and utilise our detailed knowledge of our client’s travel requirements to ensure we provide an unparalleled service.

One of the main functions of the new Fares Team will be to implement a new, comprehensive auditing process for long-haul fares.

“The new auditing process builds on the strengths of our existing technology platforms which analyses seat and airfare inventories to find the best deals for our clients,” explained Andrew.

“The fares team will automatically conduct a comprehensive audit on every long-haul enquiry to identify and secure lower cost fares and cabin upgrades. This will be accompanied by an automated quality check to ensure each booking is compliant with each unique travel policy before being transferred to the client for approval.”

Industry benefits

What sets us apart from other TMCs is our ability to combine the intimate service associated with a boutique, independent agency with the buying power expected of a large corporate.

The new Fares Team will use Business First Partnership’s longstanding relationship with Internova Travel Group to access favourable rates, benefits and upgrades for travellers at every opportunity.

Andrew added: “Many of our clients lack the internal resource, expertise or industry connections to navigate the complex world of corporate travel to unlock the best value, particularly for the purposes of business and first-class travel.

“The new team will work closely with industry partners to provide ‘status match’ across airlines.

“This means that we will be able to ensure key travellers can enjoy the same range of benefits, such as lounge access, regardless of the airline they are travelling with”.
