Business First Partnership appoints Nev Rupear as Strategic Partnerships Manager

BFP is pleased to announce Nev Rupear has joined the team as Strategic Partnerships Manager.

In his new position, Nev will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with prospective clients and raising awareness of BFPs services.

A key part of his role will be identifying networking opportunities and building relationships with potential clients. He will be integral to business development and will work closely with our sales team to devise and manage new client acquisition strategies.

Before joining BFP Nev spent two years at Reed and Mackay as a Business Development & Relationships Manager. Prior to that, he was the National Director of the Miss Universe Organisation.

“I am really pleased to have joined the Business First Partnership team,” said Nev. “This is a great step forward in my career and I’m excited to work for a TMC that has such a strong reputation for delivering for its clients.

“I’m passionate about building relationships and getting to know clients on a personal level. Engaging with people in this way helps build lasting partnerships and enables me to truly understand a client’s needs. This approach goes hand in hand with the way BFP creates bespoke solutions for each individual so I’m confident the position will be a great fit for me.

“So many businesses don’t take the time to meet face to face anymore to build connections, so I’m really pleased in my new role I will be able to do exactly that.”

Nev launched his career in travel whilst working in operations for Air France then later as Cabin Crew for Virgin Atlantic. Five of his years at Virgin were as Senior Cabin Crew which gave him first-hand insight into the needs of corporate travellers.

Nev explained: “My experience working for two prominent airlines will be invaluable to my new position. It really helped me to understand the intricacies of corporate travel and it allows me to draw on my own experiences when it comes to offering advice and support.

“One of the other significant factors that drew me to BFP was the excellent company culture. The values of honesty, integrity and respect were apparent on my first meeting with the senior leadership team and I was impressed with the level of service the entire company delivers.

“The fact that so many members of the team have been there for 5+ years highlighted to me that it would be a great environment to work in so I can’t wait to fully immerse myself and make a positive impact.”

Nigel Taylor, CEO of BFP added: “We are pleased to announce that Nev has joined our team as Strategic Partnerships Manager. His years of experience in the travel industry and passion for people make him a brilliant addition to our team.

“Nev’s personality and drive to deliver excellent experiences fits in well with our culture and philosophy and we are confident he will be a real asset in raising the profile of BFP.

“On behalf of everyone at BFP, I’d like to welcome Nev to the team and wish him every success in his new role.”
