Music First Partnership is on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Music Travel Manager to join our fast-growing, friendly team.
Do you want to work with some of the biggest names in the music industry? Do you thrive off building relationships? Do you have experience planning travel for the music and entertainment industry?
If you answered yes to these questions this might be the role for you! Keep reading to find out more.
About the role
As a Music Travel Manager, you’ll be responsible for liaising with hotels and airlines and working closely with Tour Managers, Production Managers, and bookers to put together itineraries for UK, European and worldwide tours.
Expertise and experience are key here because while sometimes you’ll have months to plan a tour, at other times it could be only a few weeks, which is when we’ve found practice really does make perfect.
The person we’re looking for will be:
- An experienced travel consultant, ideally one who has worked in the music/entertainment industry before, or with strong corporate or tailor made experience.
- Proficient in project management. You will need to see your tours through from start to finish, which means handling lots of projects at once.
- Excellent at GDS, preferably Sabre.
- Experienced in group ticketing.
- Excellent at building relationships.
If you have all of the above, as well as patience, a good sense of humour, a great work ethic and fantastic communication skills, we want to hear from you!
